LIHWAP is expanding to help those who are current on their bills but still need some assistance. The program offers a one-time payment to help low-income households pay water or wastewater bills. to qualify, households must meet the following criteria:

Total household gross income is at or below 60% of the State Median Income or a household member is a current recipient of LIHEAP, CalFresh, or CalWorks.
